Materials

- Outside: Soft bamboo lace — 95% bamboo + 5% spandex (GOTS certified). Breathes like regular underwear, moves with the body.

- Bamboo charcoal layer manages moisture and odour

- OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics. Free from harmful substances and safe for sensitive skin. Less rashes, no irritation.

- Care: Cold wash, line dry. No bleach or fabric softener. Avoid tumble drying where possible — low heat for a short start is fine in a hurry, but regular heat will reduce the layers' effectiveness over time.

- A discreet solution for light to moderate incontinence that saves hundreds compared to disposables.

Breathable, odour-control

who are these for?

and what actually solves (in real life)

FOR YOU

you don’t need full protection, but you don’t fully trust what you’re wearing either.

You cross your legs every sneeze.

Pads shift when you move.

You've tried period underwear but it doesn't handle bladder leaks.

The difference is getting through the day without adjusting, checking, or planning around it.

FOR A WOMAN YOU LOVE

when she wants something that feels normal. something she’ll actually wear.

She's avoiding long car trips. Bathroom stops every hour.

Laundry has tripled. Pads shift when she moves.

She wears them because they look like nothing special. That's the whole point.

who this is not for

If you regularly experience full bladder emptying or heavy overnight leaks, this alone won’t be enough. If that is your case, try our Leakproof Trackies over your current protection.

Built for real-world use, not just theory

Developed with input from experts who understand how incontinence affects daily life.

"Many women don't realize washable incontinence underwear exists; they assume disposables or period underwear are the only options. When they switch to real reusable incontinence underwear, they're relieved by the cost savings and not having to worry about what chemicals they're wearing all day."

How are these different from regular period underwear?

Women's leakproof underwear for bladder leaks is built differently from period underwear at the construction level. Urine flows faster and thinner than menstrual blood — period underwear is engineered for slower, thicker fluid and typically holds 40–50mL at most. The Kovered Women's Leakproof Briefs are Intertek-tested to 235mL — nearly five times the capacity of most period underwear. The absorbent layers are designed to capture fast surges, not gradual flow. If you've tried period underwear for bladder leaks and found it disappointing, that's why. This is built specifically for bladder leaks, not adapted from period products.

Will anyone know I'm wearing these?

No. The Women's Leakproof Briefs are cut to the same silhouette as regular full-coverage briefs. No visible pad outline, no bulk under clothes, no lines. The absorbent layer is built into the fabric — there's nothing inserted or attached. In change rooms, at the gym, at work — they look and feel like ordinary underwear. Orders also arrive in plain packaging with no product description on the outside.

How many pairs do I need?

Most women start with one pair to check the fit, then build a rotation of three to five. With a washable incontinence underwear rotation, you always have a clean pair ready regardless of drying time. If you're using them daily, three pairs covers a standard wash cycle. If overnight use is the priority, two pairs is the minimum — one on, one drying. The Trio option gives you three pairs at 15% off, which is how most regular wearers set up their rotation.

What size should I get?

Measure your waist and hips in centimetres and use the [Size Guide]. If you're between sizes, size up — these are designed for a comfortable everyday fit, not compression. If you're buying for someone else, check the tag inside their current underwear for a size in centimetres. Our sizing aligns closely with standard Australian sizing. Still unsure? Email info@kovered.com.au with measurements and we'll recommend the right size.

Are these reusable incontinence underwear or disposable?

Reusable. Kovered Women's Leakproof Briefs are washable, machine-safe, and designed to hold up through hundreds of washes. No disposable components, no pads to replace, no ongoing pharmacy cost. Most customers find the cost pays for itself within the first few months compared to ongoing disposable pad purchases. They're also OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified — free from harmful substances and safe for sensitive skin.

Can I use these during my period?

Yes. The Women's Leakproof Briefs are Intertek-tested to 235mL — each regular tampon holds around 10mL. The maths does the work. The double floating crotch layer means you can slip a thin pad between the layers if you want extra coverage on heavier days, but most women find they don't need anything extra at all. The pad sits between layers away from skin and can't shift. Built for bladder leaks, but handles periods just as well.

How are these different from period underwear brands?

The key difference is what they're built for. Most period underwear brands are designed for menstrual blood — which flows slowly and is thicker than urine. Leakproof underwear specifically for bladder leaks needs to handle faster, thinner fluid. The Kovered Women's Leakproof Briefs are Intertek-tested to 235mL — most period underwear ranges top out at 40–50mL. If you've tried period underwear for bladder leaks and been disappointed, that's the technical reason. This is designed from the ground up for bladder leak protection, not adapted from period care.

Can I wear them overnight?

Yes. For overnight use, the 235mL capacity handles most bladder leaks through the night without needing to change. If leaks are heavier overnight, wearing the Leakproof Everyday Trackpants over these as an outer backup layer gives you a complete system — underwear catches the leak, trackpants protect bedding and clothing if anything gets through. Many women use this combination specifically to stop 2am sheet changes.

Can I use NDIS funding?

Kovered Women's Leakproof Briefs may be fundable under the NDIS Consumables or Daily Activities support categories as a reusable continence aid for women. We provide a full tax invoice with every order. Check with your support coordinator or plan manager to confirm eligibility and the right support category for your plan. More information on the [NDIS / Funding page].

How long do they last? Are they worth the investment?

With correct care — cold wash, line dry, no fabric softener — these reusable women's leakproof briefs are designed to hold up through hundreds of washes. At $59.95 a pair, most women find the cost pays for itself within the first month compared to ongoing disposable pad or panty liner purchases. No reorders. No pharmacy trips. One pair of washable bladder leak underwear, bought once, used again and again.

How long do they take to dry?

Longer than regular underwear — the absorbent layers hold more moisture and need more time to dry through. Roughly 12 hours on a warm day, up to 24 hours in cold or humid conditions. This is why building a rotation of three pairs is the practical setup for daily use. You're never waiting on the one pair you own. Avoid tumble drying regularly — heat degrades the absorbent layers over time.

What if they don't fit or don't work for me?

Your first pair is covered by the 30-Day Risk-Free Trial. Wear your Women's Leakproof Briefs in your normal routine for up to 30 days. If they don't work for you, email info@kovered.com.au with your order number. We'll refund your first pair. No return required. If it's a size issue and the item is unworn with the tag seal intact, email us and we'll sort an exchange.
