How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from Australia within 1–2 business days. Standard delivery usually takes 3–7 business days, depending on where you are located.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is a flat $10, and orders over $149 ship free.

Is the packaging discreet?

Yes. Orders are sent in plain packaging with no medical branding on the outside, so nothing on the parcel announces what is inside.

What is the 30-Day First-Pair Trial?

First-time customers can trial one eligible pair of Kovered Trackies or Underwear for 30 days from delivery. If it’s not right for you, you can choose a refund or store credit. Accessories and additional worn items are not included.

Do I need to wash before trying my first pair under the trial?

Yes. The first wash helps activate the absorbent fibres, so Kovered asks customers to follow the care instructions before testing the product under the first-pair trial.

How do returns work?

For anything outside the first-pair trial, returns are accepted on unworn, unwashed items with tags still attached, following the store’s standard return policy.

What if I order the wrong size?

If you ordered the wrong size, contact us and we’ll help with the next step. Your first eligible pair is also covered by the 30-Day First-Pair Trial, which gives first-time customers a low-risk way to confirm fit.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos if needed. We’ll review it and help sort out the right solution quickly. This is consistent with the site’s general contact-and-support flow, though the live FAQ does not spell out a separate damaged-item process in detail.

How It Works

How does Kovered actually work?

Kovered works as a layered system. Leakproof Underwear is designed for everyday drips and regular small leaks. Trackies are designed as an overflow backup layer, usually worn over pads, pull-ups, or leakproof underwear when you want extra protection for clothes, chairs, or bedding.

Do I need to wash before first use?

Yes. Wash them once before first wear. The first wash helps activate the absorbent fibres so the product performs as intended from day one.

Are these for full bladder emptying?

No. Kovered is designed for gradual leaks and overflow situations, not a full bladder release. For heavier leaks, many people wear Trackies over their usual protection for extra backup.

What’s the difference between Trackies and Underwear?

Leakproof Underwear is best for daytime drips, post-void leaks, stress leaks, and regular small leaks. Trackies are best as an overflow backup layer when you already use pads, pull-ups, or other protection and want extra help protecting clothes, chairs, or bedding.

How much can they hold?

Trackies hold around 300–500 mL depending on size and are designed for light to moderate leaks, dribbles, or slow surges rather than a full release. Underwear is positioned more for gradual everyday leaks than for large-volume events.

Will anyone be able to tell I’m wearing them?

They are designed to look and feel like regular clothing rather than obvious medical products. Trackies are made to look like normal trackpants, and underwear is designed to feel like regular underwear.

How do I know whether to start with Underwear or Trackies?

Start with Underwear if your main issue is everyday drips, post-void leaks, stress leaks, or regular small leaks. Start with Trackies over your usual protection if your main issue is overflow onto clothes, chairs, or bedding. If you need both daytime absorbency and overflow backup, many people use both together.

What is the DryBag for?

If you are new to Kovered, start with the Starter Setup. If you want more rotation and less risk of running out of clean pairs, most people choose the Day + Night Setup. If you already know Kovered will be part of your regular routine, the Full Rotation Setup gives you the most complete setup.

What is the DryBag for?

The DryBag is for carrying a spare change or storing used items discreetly while you’re out. It is an optional add-on, not the core leak solution.

Care & Maintenance

How do I wash them?

Wash inside out in a cold machine wash with similar colours. Avoid fabric softener and bleach, as these can affect absorbency and performance. Line dry for best results.

Can I tumble dry them?

Avoid heat and hot tumble drying. If needed, Trackies can have a short cold-air tumble to remove leftover dampness, but line drying is the preferred option.

How long will they last?

With proper care, Kovered products are designed for repeated wear and washing. The live FAQ says over 100 washes is achievable with proper care, and the care guide consistently frames them as built to last with gentle care.

Do they smell after use?

The materials are designed to help reduce odour, and regular washing keeps them fresh. The site’s live FAQ mentions a charcoal layer helping control odour.

How long does it take to dry?

Usually overnight on the line, depending on airflow and climate. Underwear and absorbent garments take longer to dry than standard underwear because of the layered construction.

Why can’t I use fabric softener?

Fabric softener can leave residue that reduces absorbency and affects how well the product performs. The care guide also recommends occasionally running a cold rinse cycle without detergent to help clear any buildup.

Daily Use & Lifestyle

Are they good for sleep or overnight use?

Yes, especially Trackies as an overflow backup layer. They are designed to help with overnight protection, but they are not intended to handle a full bladder release on their own. For heavier overnight leaks, layering with your usual protection is the better setup.

Can I wear them out and about?

Yes. Kovered is designed for real-life use, including appointments, travel, outings, and longer days away from home. Many people start by testing at home first, then wear them out once they know how the product works for their routine.

Can I wear them with pads or other protection?

Yes. Many people wear Trackies over pads, pull-ups, briefs, or leakproof underwear when they want extra backup. This is one of the main ways the system is designed to work.

Do I need to change them during the day?

That depends on your leak level, how long you’re out, and what setup you are using. Some people can wear them for most of the day, while heavier leaks may need a change sooner. If you want more flexibility, rotation bundles or a spare-change setup can help.

Are they hot or uncomfortable?

They are designed to feel like clothing, not plastic-backed protection. Trackies will feel warmer in warm weather, much like regular trackpants would, but the fabrics are designed to stay breathable and avoid the heat-trapping feel of traditional overpants.

Fit & Sizing

How do I find my size?

Use the Size Guide and measure the body area that matters most for the product you’re buying. For women’s briefs, hip measurement is the key starting point. For men’s boxers, waist measurement is most important. For Trackies, use waist and hips first, then inseam.

What sizes are available?

The exact size ranges vary by product, and the best way to check is via the Size Guide and the product page you’re shopping from. Kovered provides separate sizing for Trackies, men’s boxers, women’s briefs, and DryBag dimensions.

Should I size up or down?

If you are between sizes, size up rather than down. Kovered is designed for a comfortable everyday fit, not a compression fit.

What if I’m between sizes?

Size up. The size guide repeatedly recommends sizing up if you’re between sizes or want a more comfortable fit.

What if I’m buying for someone else?

Compare the measurements of clothing they already wear or measure a garment that fits them well. The size guide also suggests using waist and hip measurements directly if you can.

Funding

Is Kovered NDIS eligible?

You may be able to use NDIS funding if your plan includes continence-related supports. Kovered can provide itemised invoices, but it cannot confirm eligibility for you. You should check your plan or speak with your plan manager or support coordinator first.

What about CAPS funding?

If you already receive CAPS, you may be able to use that payment toward continence-related purchases you buy yourself. CAPS is a reimbursement-style support rather than store-based approval.

Do you provide invoices for funding claims?

Yes. Kovered can provide itemised tax invoices to support reimbursement and plan-managed payment workflows.

What if I’m not eligible for NDIS or CAPS?

Some local councils may offer continence or reusable-product rebates, depending on the area. Kovered’s funding page presents local council support as a secondary option worth checking.

Can you bill my plan manager directly?

For plan-managed customers, Kovered’s funding page says invoice/manual payment options can be used so the plan manager can process payment before shipping, where available.
